Enterprise Payment System (EPS) is now live for Postal customers. EPS Supports commercial, domestic and international products and services including First-Class Mail®, USPS Marketing Mail™, Periodicals postage statements submitted via mail.dat, mail.xml, Postal Wizard, IMsb, or Hardcopy.
In the coming weeks, eligible CAPS and Local Trust Permit customers will receive a letter notifying them the system will be retired effective April 1, 2019.

CAPS Customers
CAPS customers pay for mailings and shipments using a centralized account through either a prefunded option or an ACH debit option, which allows the USPS to withdraw payment directly from their bank account.

Effective April 1, 2019: All eligible CAPS accounts must migrate to EPS -- customers are encouraged to migrate sooner. Note: Package products paid through eVS are not affected by these dates. Customers may continue to use/open CAPS accounts for these products until further notice.

Local Trust Permit Customers
Local Trust permit customers prefund their account by depositing a check, cash or money order at the location where the permit was opened. These customers are not mandated to migrate; however, the USPS encourages customers to take advantage of the benefits of the new system, which includes mobile check deposit, online account management, enhanced reporting, and streamlined accounting processes.

Webinar Information
Mail Entry and Business Mailer Support are hosting a series of INTERNAL informational sessions. You are encouraged to attend a session to familiarize yourself with EPS and the migration process. Since the meeting was first published the WebEx information has been updated. Delete the old invite and make sure the new calendar invite includes the updated WebEx information:
